Villa Location
Villa Olesha is a magnificent three bedroom villa located on the west coast of Bali, just five minutes walk from the sandy surfing beach of Canggu. Villa Style
It beckons the visitor with a tall artistic tower with arches and stained glass walls. A terracotta sun-face gives approaching visitors the feeling they are entering a very special place located among the emerald green paddy fields. The villa is designed with amazing Balinese architecture and an Indian touch. The entrance level of the sprawling property, welcomes the visitor with statues of elegant Balinese ladies holding flower- pots atop their heads. The car passes along the coconut, mango and other fruit trees to reach the garage where the staff receives the visitor against the backdrop of a magnificently sculpted Javanese door.

General Description
The lounge, measuring 16m long and 5m wide is beautifully decorated niches on one side and a view to the courtyard on the other side. It has a 3m x 2m single block inlaid green marble floor with mirrors on the ceiling covering the air-conditioners. The lounge also merges into the entertainment section with a giant TV screen providing satellite TV, DVD, LCD, VCR and BOSE surround music for a home theatre. A library is on the left side. The right side opens to a colorfully tiled verandah with relaxing wooden chairs for a view of the water fountain in the center of the courtyard.

Wooden stairs, under an imposing three-span arch, lead to the first floor with wide-open windows, equally big as the Master suite down below. It gives an eyeful of the magnificent scenery around including the ocean and a splendid view of the estate. The wooden columns and hand carved arches provide a charming setting for a relaxed atmosphere with friends on the specially designed chairs, sofas and canopy-bed. A bar is also set on the exquisite wooden floor.

The colonnade of the house leads to the two guest bedrooms located on one side of the garden. Air-conditioned with mosquito nets, the rooms are charmingly decorated with painting and lovely statues in the en-suite indoor-outdoor toilet and bathroom. A large wardrobe with safety box and a writing desk with chair complete the furniture arrangement. In between the two guest bedrooms is a daybed for lounging and to appreciate the manicured garden with exotic hand crafted statues in white palimanan stone.

The colonnade, with beautiful Indian and Balinese paintings on the right side walls, passes through a charming entry with a stone carved screen on the left and ends at the master bedroom. On the right of the colonnade leading to the living room is a uniquely designed toilet. The living room is open on all the four sides with tall sliding glass doors and an antique wooden door facing the second level garden. The reclining sofas and chairs under a fan with a stereo music system gives a breathtaking view of the third and the fourth lower levels of the property and the swimming pool; a world far from the madding crowds. A beautifully crafted ceramic inlay at the center of the room reinforces the Asian touch brought home ecstatically by three magnificent silk paintings. The four steps, in front, lead to the white terrace with a motive for chess. The terrace is ideal for parties and events. The colonnade also leads to the raised dining room on wooden pillars. The dining room is open on all the three sides with wooden columns supporting beautifully carved arches. Two dining marble tables mounted on Palimanan stones with antique dragon-shaped candle-supports and specially designed leather chairs provide an elegant feeling of comfort and ease.

On the fourth and the lowest level of the estate is set a unique lumbung, among luxurious flowers and fruit trees with fish-ponds and fountains. The architecture is that of a rural rice-barn with thatched roof. It comprises gym area on the lower level and spa area on the first floor provided also with a fan and a mosquito curtain making it a very intimate place to enjoy the rural and rustic atmosphere. The view of the vast expanse of multi-tiered rice fields beyond the swimming pool and the peaceful river set against the traditional rice-barn with deck can washed away any stress. The kitchen right behind the dining room is fully equipped to meet with the demands of the rich menu.

The large infinity swimming pool placed at the end of the third level of the property is ideal for the community time. The style of the villa is contemporary and elegant; a group of eight or ten people can stay at the house, very comfortably, without encroaching on each others’ space. It was specifically designed to maximise the wonderful panoramic views, and offers the ultimate in private luxury for those who seek tranquillity combined with a high standard of service. Jembar Lawang means “large open door or gate” in the Javanese language. It is an indirect expression for “warm welcome”, which is substantiated by the antique statues of a Javanese wedding couple, waiting to welcome the guests as they step over the threshold.

Indeed, guests entering the property for the first time, as they cross over a small ornamental pond, will have no idea what to expect behind the large front door. They will be surprised when they find that the doorway leads into a magnificent, semi-circular, open living area supported by towering Romanesque columns and harmonised by a cool terracotta tiled floor. Looking out over the flat green lawn and furnished with antique daybeds, a large dining table, and low antique retro tables, this is an ideal place for relaxing or socialising; perfect for a party, a reception or a lazy lunch. This imposing living area is the main focus of the property and is flanked on either side by corresponding two-storey wings, which accommodate the bedroom suites, the library, the entertainment room, two additional ground floor shower rooms, the kitchen and the laundry.

There are four double bedrooms, two in each wing, boasting spacious en-suite terrazzo bathrooms. The light and airy bedrooms also feature built-in wardrobes, chunky antique furniture, timber floors, picture windows and large sliding glass doors. One of the bedrooms has a romantic four-poster bed. The downstairs bedrooms are each complemented by a terrace overlooking the garden, and the upstairs bedrooms each feature a large stone balcony with an attractive balustrade, furnished with daybeds and enhanced by pots of bougainvillea and stunning views of the rice fields. The entertainment room, downstairs in the opposite wing of the villa, is a cosy snug where guests can relax in air-conditioned comfort with a satellite TV, DVD player, and a ‘Bose’ surround sound system.

Bulrush ponds border the villa, and the flat lawns of the walled garden are dotted with coconut trees, but the attractive grounds of the property are deliberately not crowded with plants and shrubs, therefore ensuring that it retains the feeling of space. The wooden pathway leads to the 50 m2 air conditioned bedroom in the first pavilion which facing the swimming pool and the garden, this bedroom is offering the splendid view of the green rice terrace. The bathroom door is made of beautiful carved wood features a walk in wardrobe, one large bathtub, two basins, shower and toilet.

Bedroom 2
In the first pavilion next to the first bedroom this second air conditioned bedroom is offering the same view on the rice field terrace. Featuring a king size bed with mosquito net, TV, DVD player and fire detector to ensure the safety of the guest. The bathroom features a walk in wardrobe, one large bathtub, two basins, shower and toilet. This bedroom also can be set up as twin bed with the queen size bed if required.

Bedroom 3
Located in the first floor of the two story’s pavilion, this third bedroom is accessible through the wooden pathway or through the garden. Offering a spacious space of 33 m2 featuring a king size bed with mosquito net, TV and DVD player. The bathroom features a walk in wardrobe, one large bathtub, two basins, shower and toilet.

Bedroom 4
The stone stairs leads up to the fourth bedroom which located on the second level of the pavilion overlooking the swimming pool and the garden. Bedroom 5
Accessible from the entrance, the glass wall fifth bedroom in the separate pavilion adjacent to the river is featuring a king size bed, TV and the DVD player. The en-suite bathroom is featuring one basin, toilet, shower and bathtub.

At your full service, a manager is supervising 7 permanent staffs including 1 cook, 2 maids, 1 gardener and pool attendants and 3 security guards servicing during the nights.

Villa Location

Villa Style
The exotic charm of this tranquil haven is further enhanced by the gracefully landscaped grounds holding a large swimming pool and lotus ponds. A compulsive attention to the details is obvious throughout the grounds and interiors. The furnishings and decorations are the culmination of years of collecting traditional cultures by the owner. Indonesian antiques, traditional stone carvings, flamboyant woodcarvings, are just some of the ornamental elements on display throughout the buildings. Completed in early 2007, the architecture of this villa succeeds in creating an ambience of lavish grandeur, while representing a sensitive appreciation of local culture.

General Description
Sited atop of 2,800m2 lush tropical garden by the riverside and rice fields, Villa Paloma is composed of two different buildings within a high wall to ensure total privacy and tranquility. The Main House consists of three air-conditioned bedrooms completed with en-suite bathrooms; a large dining area over viewing the swimming pool and garden; a warm welcoming spacious living area; air-conditioned TV room; a fully equipped kitchen with small comfortable dining area and pantry room on the other side. A modern design wine cellar between the kitchen and main dining area adds the luxurious feeling of the villa. The leisure of the living room is added by the pool table on the upstairs room. On the other side of a lush garden, lays the second building for the Guest Wing consists of two air-conditioned bedrooms also completed with en-suite bathroom, a living area, kitchen and a plunge pool. The two buildings are connected with a lush tropical garden which holds a thatched roof bale and a large overflow swimming pool. The two buildings share an enclosed car park which can hold several vehicles. All the modern equipment such as large TV screen, stereo sound system, DVD players as well as wireless high speed internet connection is provided to ensure the necessary international high level of comfort.

The Entrance
The main gate opens onto a paved parking area which leads in to the main entrance of the villa. The right side pathway leads to the entrance of the Main House, while the left side to the Guest Wings. A security post is located on the side of Villa Main entrance to ensure the safety of the villa.

The Garden
Villa Paloma features an extensive garden with lush foliage comprising diverse types of tropical flowers and plants providing enough space for relaxation. An outdoor dining table is set for up to 6 persons for either to enjoy breakfast in a warm sunrise or dinner by the swimming pool.

The Swimming Pool
The large swimming pool is located in the garden, overlooking the terraced rice field surrounded the villa. Several long chairs are scattered along this 90m2 swimming pool providing enough space for everybody to enjoy the sun by the pool.

The Bale
Providing small havens of shade and solitude, this thatched bale offering a space for relaxation and to appreciate the natural surroundings or simply to spend the afternoon in a luxurious style.

Dining area
Main House dining area consists of two parts. One is an informal dining area located in the garden and the other dining table connecting the living area with the main kitchen, featuring 8 comfortable seats by a Chinese antique cabinet. The dining area is kept cool by a roof fitted fan.

A small dining are in the corner of the kitchen could be also a comfortable option for a small party of closed friends for a more warm and casual dining during breakfast or quick lunch. The Guest Wing also offers an open dining area by the kitchen for a more option of privacy once needed by the guests.

Kitchen
The kitchen is located in the Main House, situated next to the dining room which is equipped with all modern amenities and also spacious room for the convenience of the guests. Small pantry is allocated on the site of the kitchen while the staff entrance is provided from the back of the kitchen to ensure the guests comfort during the food preparation. Several antique collections displayed in the kitchen add certain vibrant to this area.

The Living Area
The spacious living area is featuring antique teakwood floor, comfortable set of sofas, a sofa bed, and one antique coffee table. It exposes from personal artwork of the owner until collected collections of paintings, traditional carving of woods and stones from all throughout the Indonesian Archipelago.

Entertainment area
Above the Living Area, a small room is dedicated for one set of pool table for a private entertainment area. This room is overlooking the garden and the terraced rice fields and also equipped by ceiling fans for some hot days.

Bedroom 1 / Master bedroom
The master bedroom is located in the Main House, featuring a king sized bed with the romantic mosquito net, a flat TV screen accompanied with a DVD player. Fully air-conditioned to ensure the guest comfort and sleep-through nights throughout the whole stay. A wooden verandah is available along side of the room, open up on to the swimming pool and the lush tropical garden.

For a more pampered feeling for the guests, the Master bedroom en-suite bathroom is also equipped with an outside door access to enter after a nice swim in the swimming pool. The inside access is found after going through the spacious personalized walk-in wardrobe. To maintain the tropical luxurious feeling of the villa, the bathroom was designed in an open air style featuring large bathtub, one basin, shower and a separate toilet.

Bedroom 2
On the left wing of the Main House, the second bedroom is open up on to the lotus pond as well as to the garden. This air-conditioned bedroom is featuring a king size bed with mosquito net and a walk in wardrobe. The bathroom is featuring one basin, a bathtub, shower and a separate toilet.

Bedroom 3
The 3rd bedroom is adjoined with the 2nd bedroom, fully air-conditioned. Features a king sized bed with mosquito net and a walk in wardrobe. The bathroom is featuring one basin, bathtub, shower and a separate toilet.

Bedroom 4/ Guest Bedroom 1
Located further back in the Guest Wing, the bedroom opens on to the garden. This cozy air-conditioned bedroom is featuring a king size bed with mosquito net. The bathroom is featuring one basin, bathtub, shower, separate toilet and a fit in wardrobe.

Bedroom 5/ Guest Bedroom 2
