Comfort is king and this is reflected in the amenities at Villa Baladewa, which include a large double sized poolside pavilion with twin king sized mattresses covered in tasteful blue Sunbrella fabric and overhead fan to ensure a flow of air. The pavilion has its own cool box and there is an electrical socket, which is handy for plugging in your iPod, working on your laptop or watching a movie.

Literally a step away from the sanctuary of the pavilion is a refreshing 11m x 3.5m swimming pool which is lined with light-green stone tiles imported from the neighbouring island of Java. The filtration system is chlorine based with a cascading overflow to the garden level.

The split level design of the pool and garden with its coconut palms, bamboo and tropical flora is an interesting concept. In the garden are two sun beds and there are plenty of garden tables and chairs available throughout the villa for you to use.

Living Areas and Bedrooms
Villa Baladewa has two spacious lounges, one open and one enclosed with full air-conditioning and audio/visual facilities including satellite television, DVD player and Bose stereo system. All rooms at the villa are connected by phone via a PABX exchange so if you need to check the children or speak to friends they are only a phone call away.

On the ground floor of the main house is the open lounge with swimming pool and garden views. Upstairs adjacent to the master suite are large double glass paneled doors that open into the upper lounge, which is home to the entertainment system. This room is fully air-conditioned by an LG Art Cool Plasma AC.

The windows can be opened to give the feeling of open living; this is the traditional style which the local Balinese favour. At night the doors can be closed and locked. For extra security the villa is surrounded by a high wall and one of the staff lives in the staff quarters at the rear of the villa so there is always someone home.

There are several places around the swimming pool where you can relax on a sun bed, sit with friends and a drink or enjoy a snack. This is also a great villa for families with older children.

In the lounge there is a stereo system for playing CD’s and Satellite TV with over 30 channels including over 5 movie channels, several sports and news channels. There is also a DVD player so you can watch your own movies.

Bedrooms
There are a total of four air conditioned bedrooms at Villa Baladewa. Two master suites, located on the upper floors of the east and the west wing and two guest suites located on the lower level of the west wing.

All of the bedrooms have wooden flooring and are air-conditioned by an LG ArtCool Plasma AC. Each room has been tastefully furnished with solid hardwood fixtures including, large double beds with bedside tables, lamps, wardrobes and chairs. Each of the two ground floor suites with their king size beds can sleep two adults comfortably; the same is true of the spacious master suites. For an additional fee we have a single bed available which is suitable for children. A baby cot and high chair are also available upon request at time of booking.

All bedrooms are complete with built in wardrobes, beautiful marbled bathrooms, the master suites come equipped with a huge oversize bath tubs and have separate shower cubicles. The main master bedroom also comes equipped with a small safe for the security of your valuables.

The ground floor of the west wing is home to the two guest bedrooms, which each have their own private bathrooms complete with showers, wash basin with hot and cold water, and a toilet. These bedrooms overlook the garden at the rear of the villa and have their own private terraces with rice terrace views.

Villa Staff and Facilities
A fully equipped western style kitchen complete with most modern conveniences including, microwave grill, stove top, kettle, coffee machine, juicer, mixer, etc. Also included in the rental fee is a great cook, experienced in both Asian and western cuisine, you simply supply the ingredients and she will prepare and serve your menus and even clean up afterwards. All you need do is enjoy yourselves.

Add to this the attentive household staff, plus your very own Car and Driver and the recipe for a perfect holiday is almost complete. The final elements are its proximity to major tourist attractions: far enough to give an unmistakable sense of privacy yet close enough to access conveniently at your leisure.

The lower lounge is home to the kitchen and dining area which has a large table with eight high-backed chairs, offering garden and pool views, a perfect setting for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

The living room provides the center point of Villa Bali Bali Two. Upstairs is a loft that serves as the audiovisual room. The living room is decorated in antiques from around the archipelago and featuring walls done in stone with wood detailing, it’s a place to entertain or merely relax. Floored in local sandstone, opening onto the garden and pool on one side and the dining room, that seats six, and a modern kitchen on the other, everything that one needs seems to be only steps away.

Local fabrics in earth tones adorn the villa, blending in well with the predominantly wood furniture, serving as a reminder of how important the soil is to the culture of Bali.

A Balinese shrine stands to one side of the swimming pool and looks down the large lawn that contains a bale for relaxing or massages. The villa is positioned to look out on to some of Bali’s world famous rice field terraces. Sitting and Dining room
The air-conditioned sitting and dining room features a solid wood floor and sliding glass doors on two sides, with direct access to the swimming pool and pool deck. There is a well equipped open plan kitchen, a large dining table for eight, comfortable sofas and chairs, and a satellite TV, DVD player and sound system. A guest washroom is located to one side, and a large wooden statue of a Balinese goddess rests within an alcove.

Viewing Sitting Room (2nd Floor)
Timber clad stairs lead from the downstairs living area up to an open air deck sheltered by a thatched roof. This cool and breezy upstairs sitting room offers breathtaking views, and is furnished with daybeds and a low coffee table. Open on two sides, blinds can be dropped for privacy. There is also the provision of ceiling fans.

Study
A small self contained study on ground level features windows on two sides and a wall of bookshelves stocked with books, ornaments and local artefacts. The study is furnished with a desk and a chair, and equipped with Broadband Internet connection.

Bedrooms
The three ground level bedrooms feature bengkirai wood floors, dark wooden furnishings, king size beds and fitted wardrobes under soaring roofs. Each is equipped with a wall mounted, flat screen LCD satellite TV, complemented by a DVD player and sound system. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors open out into the garden. Two of the bedrooms share a centrally positioned bathroom complete with a large frosted glass porthole window.

Sitting and Dining Room
The sitting and dining room is a single storey, air-conditioned building with a high roof. It is elegantly furnished with a solid wood circular dining table for four, a comfortable sofa, ottomans and a coffee table, and equipped with a satellite TV, DVD player and quality sound system. Colourful artwork adorns the fresh white walls, and the provision of three sliding glass doors ensures that guests can fully appreciate the captivating view and the cool breezes. The well-equipped open plan kitchen is incorporated at the far end, featuring cream terrazzo worktops, a serving area, and dark wood units.

Bedroom
The ground level air-conditioned bedroom offers direct access to the pool, and is characterised by a timber floor, dark wooden furnishings and a king size, canopied bed under a soaring roof. There is a flat screen, LCD satellite TV mounted on the wall, complete with DVD player and quality sound system. Three floor-to-ceiling glass doors open out into the garden. Set amidst a plantation of mature coconut palms, mango trees and lush tropical gardens lies “Seseh Serasi“, a luxurious and expansive 3-bedroom villa, designed by internationally acclaimed architect, Glenn Parker of GPA Indonesia. Blending the very best of traditional Balinese architecture with modernist luxury, the one thousand square meter property consists of three individual Balinese pavilions arranged around an open poolside courtyard. Cool, light furniture, finishes and fabrics have been chosen to compliment the local materials of alang-alang grass roofs, white palimanan stone floors and decorative Balinese hand-carved columns and doors.

The orientation of the pavilions face west to enjoy the last remaining rays of the sun as it casts its dancing light through the coconut palms. Surrounded by frangipani trees, the 7m x 7m swimming pool incorporates rich green stone tiles creating a naturally fluid connection to the lush surrounding landscape.

Villa Seseh Serasi offers spacious and open-air living and dining spaces complimented by three air-conditioned bedrooms. White cotton mosquito nets and luxuriously soft feather pillows, candles and incense, all create a feeling of romance. The master bedroom, featuring a queen-sized bed, opens onto a gardened indoor/outdoor bathroom with a large modern bathtub and shower. The other two bedrooms, one with queen size bed, the other with two oversized single beds are housed in an adjoining pavilion. Sharing a bathroom, the two bedroom pavilion nicely suits family living.

Friendly staff take care of all cooking, cleaning, gardening and maintenance, ensuring your stay at Seseh Serasi is a truly memorable one. A sumptuous American breakfast, compliments of the villa, is served daily. Delicious meals for lunch and dinner can also be prepared by our talented cook, (skilled in both Indonesian and Western cuisine) who has been trained by co-owner Kirsty Cassidy, renowned Food Editor of Elle Australia.

Villa Seseh Serasi is suitable for all, whether you are a couple, a family with children or a group of six adults. Rates are also available on a “per room” basis, allowing guests to book the villa as a one-bedroom, two-bedroom or three-bedroom, (whilst still enjoying exclusivity of the villa). The villa is equipped with a baby cot, high chair and pool fence for the children.

With flat roof tops, clean symmetrical lines and an exterior colour combination of cappuccino and cool grey, Villa Kotak is a complex reminiscent of a sleek industrial loft space cum secured residence. Every effort has been undertaken to ensure optimal guest satisfaction with modern home comforts and conveniences. A service kitchen at the front entrance of the property is where staff members organize breakfast and other meals on request.

As a 5 bedroom rental alternative, Villa Kotak features a pair of interconnecting compounds to comfortably accommodate the needs of up to 10 adult guests. This contemporary styled complex, with a choice of pools and ample outdoor space for social gatherings, ventures beyond all preconceived travel expectations. Villa Kotak (Two Bedroom Villa)

Unique Retreat
This innovative two bedroom villa has been created to anticipate the needs of the savvy traveller who is making a conscious effort to venture beyond the Balinese cliche of traditionally thatched dwellings and swaying coconut palms. Designed with a touch of urban sophistication, Villa Kotak offers a unique retreat to kick back and totally relax.

Unpretentious Decor
Architecturally this villa is a plain structure with a flat roof void of all unnecessary decorative clutter. It is accessed via a private walkway that leads into an oversized doorway guarded by a pair of stone carvings. The main living space incorporates a dining area and compact kitchenette for the preparation of light refreshments. Customized furnishings upon a floor of polished concrete contribute to an overall look that is simple and unpretentious.

Adult Privacy
Matching bedroom suites on opposite ends of the villa are orientated towards the pool with glass sliding doors for convenient outdoor access. Both rooms have been designed to cater to the privacy of adult guests by featuring modern en-suite bathroom facilities and plenty of storage for personal belongings.

Outdoor Pleasures
The outdoor environment is almost entirely taken up by a full length swimming pool that is surrounded by a timber deck and shady pergola. A single palm tree with giant leaves fanning out like an exotic bird spreading its wings is strategically placed to add a vibrant touch of greenery. A side door in the fence connects both villas for friends and family members travelling together, but also locks securely for private time alone when it is required.

Villa Kotak (Three Bedroom Villa)

Uninterrupted Views
This generously appointed three bedroom villa makes a bold statement in contemporary design and is a complete contrast to the surrounding environment of tropical countryside and indigenous flora. The compound borders onto a small flowing river and offers uninterrupted views over nearby rice terraces.

Contemporary Living
The main structural body of this villa is a proportionally shaped wing that is accessed by a narrow entrance way and leads directly into an integrated living/dining space complete with compact kitchenette. Visually this area conveys a sense of strength and features a minimalist decor that incorporates a modular lounge in rich creamy fabric, floors of polished concrete and a quirky collection of decorative arts.

Private Sleeping Quarters
Double bedrooms are positioned at either side of the main living quarters to overlook the pool and garden. Air-conditioned for nights of restful slumber, both bedrooms feature tasteful furnishings in dark timber and include a personal en-suite bathroom facility with open-style cubicles in lieu of his/her wardrobe space.

Master Suite
The Master Suite is an individual flat roofed structure that stands alone at the end of the garden for total privacy. A large picture window exposes this setting to a backdrop of pure nature and allows warm rays of sunlight to filter through. Ample storage space and a modern en-suite bathroom with rain shower complete this adult retreat.

Outdoor Elements
A manicured garden sparsely planted with palms and frangipani trees is spread over two tiers and dominated by an elongated infinity pool and an impressive timber deck. This sizeable outdoor space lends itself to long leisurely hours soaking up the sun and alfresco wining and dining under the stars.
